I used this following upper/lower eyelift. They are very thin, gel-like eye masks that conform perfectly to your eyes. They seem a bit fragile and won't last forever, but will certainly provide nice cool comfort following surgery. If you keep the set in the refrigerator or in ice water, you can switch to another mask when the one you're using is no longer cool (which, unfortunately doesn't last very long since they are so thin). I also tried keeping them in the freezer and rotating from there. They came out as flat wafers that you had to rest on your nose and wait a minute for them to "melt down" and conform to your face, but the cooling lasted longer. I had very little brusing using this as well as the blue gel-filled eye masks that I also bought here and kept in the freezer. Those stay cooler longer and you can put pressure on the blue gel masks to follow surgeon recommendations for pressure massage following removal of your stiches. You might want to get both types of masks. | |
