I had really bad acne scarring and pitting since my acne began when I was in fifth grade and I got really bad flare-ups. Even had cystic acne in my early twenties and had to get steroid injections for them to go away. I tried everything from tanning bulbs, seeing a dermatologist and using different scripts, exercise and diet, glycolic peels and salicylic acid, affirm laser treatments, micro dermabrasions, etc. etc.

Dr. Vasileff did dermabrasion on my checks, fat injection/filler transfer from my thigh/buttocks to plump out the bad pitted scars, and co2 laser over the entire face right up to the hairline! I even went with rhinoplasty to enhance my nose for a new beauty!

I went home with a splint over my nose, and ointment and bandages on my face. After 5 days the bandages were taken off and my skin was crusty. I had to wash & apply moisturizer often. After 1 week my splint came off. After 13 days I applied make-up but skin was quite dry/flaky still. After 14 days I returned to work.

I was under general anesthesia for the procedure and the recovery wasn't painful at all. However, I did take my pain meds as prescribed. I was just very uncomfortable because the rhinoplasty made me feel like I had a terrible head cold!

Information added 16 months later:

I had another laser treatment done 16 months later and the pictures are posted for you to see. The results are tremendous. The recovery was quicker this time, but I didn't have the dermabrasion done along with the laser like before. I don't think it was quite invasive this time either though.

My first surgery with my nose and everything took 3 hours and the second surgery with just the laser treatment to the cheeks took 1 hour.
