After several abdominal surgeries, I was told that an abdominal binder would be my constant companion. After wearing the hook and loop types for several years I decided to look for something that was more comfortable, didn't leave big bulge running down my side and that I wouldn't have to wear my shirts hanging out! This compression garment does it all. However, I did need to alter the arm holes more than a little. The way they are made tends to bunch up the skin under my arms to the point that it is very uncomfortable to wear for long periods of time. So I got out the old sewing machine and an undershirt that fit correctly and cut and hemmed larger arm holes. The compression is still awesome but the garment is much more comfortable. Someone might want to suggest this to the manufacturer. Just send the royalty check to my bank please! I highly recomend the Power Compression shirt to anyone wanting to have a very comfrotable and firm alternative to the elsatic, hook and loop binders sold at the prosthetics stores.
