Garment Measuring Tips

When selecting a garment, you need to pay attention to the number in parentheses next to the size. For example, XS (28-31) means that an Extra Small garment is in the range of 28 to 31 inches.

Chest: Measure yourself in the widest part of the chest.

Tops & Tanks
For tops and tanks, you should step into the garment from the top of the garment (as if you are stepping into a pair of shorts) and pull the garment up through your legs as opposed to pulling the garment over your head. This is because the garment is very compressive and would be difficult to get into otherwise.
If you are on the border of two sizes on the extreme or power compression, always go with the larger size when in doubt.

Brief:
Measure your Waist Circumference at the belly button or just above it.

Please be aware that we offer 5 levels of compression for tops: Extreme; Power; Mid; Light & Ultra-Light.

Extreme- Our customers have told us that these run small, so please order at least your size or one up
Model #: 997, 988, 998, 983, 967, 918

Power- Our customers have told us that these run small, so please order at least your size or one up
Model #: 974, 973, 978

Mid- Our customers note that these fit more true to size, you do not need to size up unless you are on the border
Model #: 993, 994, 956,

Light- Our customers tell us that these run a little big.
Model#: 473, 498, 478, 497

Ultra-light- Our customers tell us that these run a little big.
Model#: 573, 594, 598, 597

We suggest you order the correct size as you do not need to order a smaller size to look smaller. You can be more aggressive on a light garment but clearly you need to be conservative when sizing an Extreme garment.

Notes On Binders:

1. How to measure:  First take a snug measurement under the bust line with a tape measure.  Next take another measurement over
the fullest part of your chest.  Again not too tight but not too loose. Take the average of these two measurements and apply the result to the scale provided below. Each item has a different scale based on the elasticity of the fabric used and the cut of the garment, so please pay attention to the sizing scale for each style.

2. Care For Your Binders: You may hand wash or machine wash your binders but only in cold water. Use gentle cycle when machine washing. Do not iron. Do not place the garment near any kind of heat source. Do not use any kind of bleach. Drip dry or flat dry, do not place your binder in the dryer.

3. How To Put On Your Binder:  Tank top style binders are slipped on just like a pullover or a t-shirt. In some cases, depending on your body type, if a binder is too difficult to get on this way, simply step into the garment and pull it up.  The vest style binders have a three-way adjustment for tightness through a hook-n-eye closure system.  You can attach several hooks and slip on your vest binder like a tank style binder. After which you can then tighten by fastening the rest of the hooks.  Or you may simply put this on like a regular vest and fasten the hooks one at a time.
