Ideal for scars that cover large body areas, Kelocote Scar Spray is the only silicone scar spray product on the market coming in a spray for the treatment of larger and difficult to reach scars as well as for the treatment of areas that are too sensitive or painful to the touch. As the Kelo-cote spray does not require you to rub the product in, it is ideal for treating areas that are too sensitive or painful if touched. Kelo-cote Scar Spray is a lightweight scar reduction spray that helps flatten, soften, smooth, and reduce all types of scars, including new and old scars, post-surgery scars, keloids, hypertrophic scars, superficial scars, healed-over lacerations, various forms of dermatitis, insect bites, minor burns, scars resulting from skin diseases, and other scar types. With Kelocote, the scar and surface of the skin surrounding the scar become smoothed, soothed and enhanced. Kelo-cote also helps reduce the color of the scar and eliminate erythema (redness surrounding the wound). In addition to scar reduction benefits, Kelo-cote maintains the moisture balance in the skin while aiding in the healing process due to surgery and/or injury. By forming a barrier impervious to bacteria, Kelo-cote prevents excessive immune system response, thereby diminishing the tendency to scar. In addition to surgical procedures, Kelo-cote has become the treatment of choice for post-laser skin resurfacing and is especially effective in the reduction and elimination of erythema (redness) associated with dermatological laser procedures. Kelo-cote has been shown to flatten, soften, and smooth hypertrophic scars and keloids, while also improving the discoloration noted with these types of aggressive scars.

Kelo-cote Spray is a patented, self-drying, flexible, gas permeable, waterproof Silicone Gel Sheet that is colorless and oderless. Kelo-cote Spray forms a bond with the stratum corneum, forming a protective barrier against chemical, physical and microbial invasion of the scar site, while assisting in hydration. This creates an environment which allows the scar to mature through normalised collagen synthesis cycles, and improves the physiological symptoms and cosmetic appearance of the scar.

Instructions for Use:

• Shake can well before use.
• Ensure that the effected area is clean and dry.
• Remove the cap from the can and spray along the length of the scar in a sweeping motion
• Kelo-cote Spray should be applied in a very thin, even coating with no holes or gaps on the affected area.
• Allow to air dry before covering with pressure garments, sun block or makeup.
• Kelo-cote Spray should be applied once daily to scars that will be covered by pressure garmetns or to areas not subject to abrasion. Other scars should be treated twice daily for maximum effect.
