i had mid face lift 23 days ago and everything went well ,my swelling went down of course i have persisting swelling in my cheek which i knew about that but what make me worried my upper lip is so stiff and i can not smile like before and my lip function is different i even can not make a kiss i was told it should be back in 3 months but i am wondring becasue after more than 3 weeks this is the part that i see less improvement , so stiff ,can not smile ,m smile is weired the people are less notice of my mid face lift by now but everybody think sth is wrong with my lip , i can not talk and eat normally too would u plz give me some idea the midface life went though the temple and my upper lip i feel so sad

Sounds like either paresis of the maxillary branch of the facial nerve. Or more paralysis. But I can not diagnose over the internet. You need an IN PERSON second opinion.... (more)

to add up, i have sensation in my upper lip just so stiff ,it got better 10 % in 3 weeks while my cheeks got 60 % better in 3 weeks or 23 days, i was not aware of havin this problem for mid face would u plz let my know any experince u have , i was told and red mid face lift is 2 weeks recovery not i am passed 3 weeks can not smile and still sowellon i can not see the whole teeth wihch i used to see just smaller line of my teeth my teeth is hiding and i have to force myself to smile becasue that area is so stiff but anout sensation i almost have plz help
