mini facelift painful?

Just got back from first consult..docter said slit in front of ears with local and there is little or no pain after surgery.And after awhile incision in front of ear will just barely be noticeable. .all this including some lipo on neck under chin for $5,500. What do you think?

What you are describing is indeed a mini. It certainly can be done and could give you improvement especially if you are young and have minimal sag. There should be minimal pain, I agree. (more)

I had this done over ten years ago in Bangkok.. I had general anaesthetic. It cost less than you quoted but its a decade ago. I had a lot of pain with tightness up the back of my scalp. the scars do disappear completely in time . the discomfort lasted a few months. i was told to rub it well with a good massage oil once the wounds had healed.
