Forehead Scar

This forehead scar is a result of shingles and is about 5-6 weeks old. It's an idented scar. I was given Retin A by my doc but I have not seen an improvement. I am literally missing skin here. Can anyone tell me if plastic surgery is needed? Thanks in advance.

Any information you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!
