Hello, i'd love to know what the end result of this was as I find myself in a very similar position and i'm heartbroken at the thought I could have indented scars on my face from the ND yag laser. I wasn't warned of this before the treatment.

It's been years since your post but I wanted to follow-up and see how you made out as I have found myself in the same situation. I had been treated with yag for thread veins around my nose several times over a year and a half with no problems other then they slowly came back. After a year of no treatment I decided to try one more time and was burned despite the rn saying she used the same settings. She zapped me twice in a row each time which she had never done before. I was left with a huge blister that also burst and took 2 weeks to heal. I did not touch it and kept it moist and it didn't look horrible when the blister skin fell off so I thought I was lucky....but it seems to have pulled itself into a dent as time went on. I am just mortified and depressed. Have you had any luck treating it? It's been a month since it happened so I am starting dermatology hoping it will level out a bit but don't have much hope. Scared to get laser revision etc for fear of side effects :-( any advise would be appreciated

I have now seen the dermatologist for a follow-up and she explained that scabs are common, and that indentations can develop (something which I was NOT made aware of before the procedure). She told me to let it heal a bit more and in one week she will review again and if needed lift the skin if there is still an indentation. Am very concerned and upset as I was never told that this could happen.
