My jaw is extremely asymmetrical, is there a way to fix it or help it without being invasive?
fillersArtefill

I had jaw surgery about five years ago to correct my bite, and I noticed since then that my jaw has appeared grossly asymmetrical. I brought that to the doctor's attention during a followup and he told me that it was just swelling. It's been 5 years and my face seems like it's getting more and more asymmetrical. Is there a way to use fillers or something non invasive to fix it that is more cost efficient than plastic surgery? What procedures are available to me?

Dr Grossman and MissJ are correct. Plus your posted photos are not very helpful. Best to be seen in person to be examined, measured, computer imaged. I recommend filler on slim side and (more)

You have a pretty face with some asymmetry that can easily be improved on the left side of your face with many of the fillers available today.
Good luck from NYC.

  It depends: reduction or augmentation

Your first and most important question is whether you want to augment the right side of your jaw or reduce the left. Speaking from pure aesthetics, I think that reduction of the left side (more)

What about botox facial reshaping? Is that possible for me to shrink the augmented side?

  not really "grossly asymmetrical"

I would not say your jaw line area is "grossly asymmetrical". It's just somewhat asymmetrical.
You have more bulk out to the right side of face (left side of photo). So, yes, you could use fillers, perhaps fat grafts to even out the sides. Of course, that helps if you like the right side of face (lefts side of photo) better.

Okay, I see...what if I used fillers to make my chin look longer to offset it? I don't like the look of my right side, but I like the idea of fillers better than surgery just in case I don't like it, since it's not permanent, and surgery is what I think messed my jaw up in the first place.
