Would eye surgery remove lines under the inner corners of my eyes

Hi

Iv been getting Botox for crows feet but of course they can't inject near the inner corners towards my nose so this area has lines still which seem to he getting worse. I'm 40 years old and wondering if eye surgery would remove this thin skin area and where would the scar be?

I'm not confident in lasers in this area as iv heard bad reports of side effects etc and it going wrong.

Is surgery my only option or is there a actual cream that works.

Cheers

Nenee

Very hard to answer these questions over the internet. especially to which type of laser to be used. And the results on each type area of skin. In person evaluations ALWAYS best. (more)

In my opinion you will benefit hugely from fat transfer to the lower eye lid/cheek area and possibly have a chemical or light laser peel. Definitely no surgical removal of tissues. You (more)

Thanks for your photo. You are a very good candidate for lower blepharoplasty. Please, consult with a board certified plastic surgeon who has experience in facial cosmetic surgery. (more)

Why don't you provide me or us with a photo of your eyes depicting your problem area and you can then get a valuable recommendation.
Good luck from NYC (more)

It depends what lines your are referring to. Botox can help with "bunny lines" on the nose, close to the lids. If it is the lid itself, then perhaps a blepharoplasty would be more (more)

Provided the skin color is white, Laser remains the only answer to lower lid lines.
Best results obtained with CO2 laser, Fractional or complete abelative, dependant on the expertise of (more)

Thanks for sharing your valuable answers, the question asked "Would eye surgery remove lines under the inner corners of eyes" also comes in my mind, by reading answers of doctor I will get an idea about botox treatment. From http://botoxandfillerspune.com/ I also get online information from expert doctors.

I have also had botox for bunny lines, however I feel that with age as well as the slight drooping effect botox has, that it has exacerbated the appearance of the inner corner under eye hollows not matter where the injection placement is(I have Botox in this pic). Volume loss has also contributed to the bunny lines being for a loose skin issue . Is there a procedure that can lift the inner corner under eyes skin by the nose? and will an eye lift w/ fat transfer correct this? Im 50 and this really is bothering me. Thank you

Co2 laser (smartxide i think its called?)
September 16, 2011 6:25 AM

Hi there

thank you all for your advice really appreciate it. I had my botox top op yesterday and the surgeon does not do lasers but said he does not think the laser would remove the deeper lines i have directly under my eyes on my lower lids and that these are very difficult to treat?

But the surgeon who did my lovely tummy tuck has been using the co2 smartxide laser(minimal down time compared to the older type apparently) and recommended the laser like all of you for the upper and lower eye lid, she said it would tighten the loose skin on the upper and remove the wrinkles on the lower lid with redness for a few days and i would need about 3 lots of treatments?

My questions are: will it remove the 2 deep wrinkles i have on my lower lids?

If i have melasma(its under control and not seen anymore although there) would the co2 laser be ok?

Does the laser effect the fat under my skin as iv heard that thermage lasers etc can do this?

And would it remove the frown lines i have on my forehead so i dont have to keep having botox?

sorry so many questions ;-(
thank you once again

The lines in the lower lid area, in the picture posted will respond only to deep chemical peel or CO2 laser resurfacing.
