Three months after a total fx, the skin on my chin is crumply. Is there much hope for improvment in the coming 3 months?
Settings: 1. Deep FX 15mJx 1 pass to entire mouth area, 2nd pass to scars at corners of mouth. 2. Active FX 90 mJ x 1 pass to entire mouth area, 2nd pass to scars at corners of mouth. ( FAIR SKIN )

Many of us as we age begin contracting chin muscles and this makes the chin look a little pebbly or almost like orange skin. Botox can be injected into the chin to relax that contraction and the chin will smoothe out. Collagen remodeling is accomplished over time. If you still have what you feel is crumply appearance at 6 months, then it may be the underlying muscle contractions and not the skin itself. I'm sure your physician will be happy to provide a followup visit and determine if this is an issue or if you are still in "healing" mode. (less) |
