Fat transfer, in the hands of a truly experienced surgeon, should make you look the way YOU did when you were much younger. In order to achieve this effect, you face must receive a significant volume of your stem cell containing fat. When done well this effect should be permanent, i.e. you should should better 10 years from than you look today.
To achieve the same with fillers, you would need to spend considerably more money for a temporary effect ( one to two years).

Glad to read more about this - Just decided today after doc visit to go with Fat filler for mid face valume loss instead of Fillers mostly because I don't want to SEE another doctor about my face for a while I hope :-)
Sounds like Fat is MUCH more prefered (and like almost 0% allergies to your own fat) -- How cool is that! Can't wait until I'm posting my Yag Full face laser surgery with fat grafting/fillers on here -- Big Date - Feb 1, 2010~
