Hello, here is some advice, in the order that you asked your questions. (1) Use sunscreen after your peel a lot of it. Stay in doors if you can, if you have to go outside make sure you are completely out of the sun! Use a gentle cleanser nothing abrasive at all. Keep skin moist constantly following the peel. Ask your Dr. about using Emu Oil to help fight infection and keep your skin moist during the peeling process. Apply it several times a day. (2)The peel solution will remove the superficial layers of the skin, revealing the new and smooth skin underneath. Initially the skin will turn red and frost white after the solution is applied, it may continue to appear red and frost in some areas for up 30 minutes. For the next couple of days the skin may look bright red, similar to a sunburn. The skin will start to darken with each day, and may even turn to a scab, before it actually peels off. (3)The tca peel goes much deeper than the Obaji blue peel. (4) NO! do not use any exfoliant before during or after your peel. Wait until the doctor says it's okay, usually at least a week after your peel.(5) There are many home tca peels you can purchase, I'd suggest getting it done by a professional, but if you want to do it at home just be sure to read and follow the directions given and call your doctor with any questions you may have before you start the peel. Good luck.
