Should I take accutane? HELP!

Hi, I have had acne for two years now, I have been on all antibiotics. I have also had 5 laser treatments, with about 60% improvement. The esthetician said it wont improve anymore and that the best bet would be accutane.
I am just worried about HAIR LOSS, that is my only concern, there seems to be a lot of people suffering hair loss, but I cant decide if it is necessarily a side-effect.
Any light on this or how to prevent this side effect would be greatly appreciated.

Your esthetician knows what she is talking about - and she's probably seen just as much or more faces than many dermatologists... additionally, she seems sincere because telling you this takes business away from her and gives it to the dermatologist. I used Accutane and it was the ONLY thing that worked for me. Fortunately, I did not suffer hair loss BUT my lips were DRY. There may be some side effects, but no gain. I rather some side affects than years of suffering with painful, annoying, scarring, shaming, stressful, ugly pimples....
