I have very light Irish type skin and have had 4 rounds of IPL. The freckles are still here. I see no change at all.
Is IPL right for me or is there another one that might work better. Have had no darkening of the spots at all.

The efficacy of the IPL depends to some degree on the color of the freckles as well as who is operating the machine. Light skin and brown freckles is the ideal situation for IPL. You want to make sure that they are using enough energy, perhaps with a second opinion. If so, then maybe Fraxel dual would work better. We are having great success with pigmented spots using that device.
