Chin implant is still a reasonable option  November 20, 2012 3:34 PM

It is hard to properly assess the symmetry of your jaw without a front view image of your jaw. However, even if you do have existing jaw asymmetry a chin implant is still an option. Chin implants can be modified to remedy or asymmetry or a custom implant can be created just for you to provide better jaw symmetry. I hope this information is helpful.

You do not need that much correction in the projection of your chin. A chin implant can do it. A non surgical filler injection can do it as well. In fact, if you want to do a trial run and see what chin augmentation would look like, filler can really help. There's ones that last about a year, and there's even fillers that can be dissolved at any time with an enzyme if you do not like the result. Risks are minimal and the downtime is limited to a day of mild swelling.

There isn't a person on this planet who has a symmetrical face or the jaw line.
Your presentation is a common one.
A chin implant will bring better proportions to your face.
Good luck from NYC.
