Safe to inject filler under nose (scar)?
I have a scar running from my slightly within my right nostril to my lip (following a motorbike accident).
Would this area be safe for injecting filler? Im concerned because it is the nose area (and inside my nostril slightly). Have read a lot about the nose area being linked to necrosis and blindness due to this area having abundant blood vessels. Would really appreciate advice on risks of necrosis or blindness in this area.
Thank you so very much!

Safe with an experienced injector  November 9, 2012 5:44 PM

This is a safe area to inject, but the success of the injection will vary. It is hard to make accurate predictions without a picture, but certainly the scar needs to be mature - over 6 months old - for optimal results. Also, it would be best to have a very experienced injector, since this is not an area that people commonly inject and you do not want to overfill. The goal here is improvement rather than complete elimination of the scar.
