lOOKING FOR NON SURGICAL REMEDY FOR ENLARGED TURBINATES
I have recently been diagnosed with a deviated septum and enlarged turbinates-- Most recently I have begun to experience a stuffy nose - excessive sneezing throughout the day that doesn't seem to be going away for any significant period of time.. I went to the ENT who advised to try Nasonex - I have been using it but have not found any relief..any suggestions-- I am also borderline high blood pressure so need to avoid the OTC decongestants...Help if you can is most appreciative..

try asking your ent about steroid injections into the turbinates. sometimes that shrinks them down.
also, you have to use nasal steroids for a month to see if it is working. make sure you give them enough time.

This can easily be done in the office with minimal risk under topical or local anesthesia.
