Will I ever get cheeks
I'm someone with no cheeks and a weird face structure. I'm very self-conscious of my face, to the point I don't like to go out. Please provide me with the best facial procedure option to finally get a even proportional face? (photo)

Surgical vs non surgical options  September 17, 2012 10:07 AM

You certainly have no reason to be self conscious of your face. It is well proportioned and your cheeks are fine. If you wanted to get a bit of enhancement to your cheeks, however, you may want to consider a non surgical option before you opt for something permanent like implants. I have had excellent results with doing the kind of mild enhancement that you would want using Radiesse or even Perlane. These are temporary injectable fillers, so if you don't like the effect it will fade within a year (Radiesse) or be reversed immediately (Perlane). Results, if you choose an experienced and talented injector, are natural looking and subtle.

Absolutely nothing will work better than having fat transfer, which will provide you with a permanent result using your own tissue. You have to find a surgeon who will do this and promise you permanency of the result.
Good luck from NYC.

what is a cheek  September 21, 2012 1:41 AM

he zygomatic arch or cheek bone is formed by the zygomatic process of temporal bone (a bone extending forward from the side of the skull, over the opening of the ear) and the temporal process of the zygomatic bone (the side of the cheekbone), the two being united by an oblique suture. So cheeks are not a ball beneath the eye but rather they are a lateral raise on the side of the face. I find Juvederm excellent for creating these and it last about 9 months . lets look at the bone then grace kelly were perfection.
