Is it normal to look like a chipmunk after having radiesse in cheeks (close to nose).
I had radiesse injections yesterday in my cheeks (close to my nose). My doctor told me this would look natural and would just give me a little plump and would help hide my bags. I now look like a chipmunk. I'm scared this un-natural look will not go away.I know its only been 24 hours but i'm afraid she overed filled me. She used a total of 1 1/2 syringes, not sure if this is alot. Will these lumps stay this big or will they soften over time. If so about how long does this take??? also the left side of my face is larger (or maybe more swollen not sure) than the right is, is this normal? any feed back would be appreciated.

Sounds like temporary swelling  October 13, 2011 11:33 AM

1.5 syringes for both cheeks is not alot. If placed correctly and evenly, you should have a great result, once the swelling goes away. At this point, I would recommend intermittent ice application and taking benadryl at night. We also have people take Arnica Montana and that seems to help. Give it two weeks before evaluating the final result.

If you looked good after the injection, you are probably just swollen. Be patient.
Good luck from NYC
