Is it possible to reconnect muscle fibers of the upper lip to the nasal septum?
My plastic surgeon told me after surgery that my upper lip had to be lengthened due to the shaving down of the nasal spine. He said he had to disconnect the muscle fibers of the obicularis oris muscle from the nasal base. Now mt upper lip covers my teeth and dose not function properly. Reconnecting it to the septum was his answer. Have you ever heard of this?
