Lip injections AFTER-Please review picture
I just got my lips injected with Juvederm. It's my first lip injection ever. This picture is taken 12 hours after the injections. Does this look normal to you? What should I expect the next few days?

looks good  July 5, 2010 10:47 AM

i agree - give it at least a few days to come down a bit and the bruising to go away. it should be very good.
if there are any asymmetries, your doc can always use hyaluronidase to reduce certain areas by dissolving a small bit of the juvederm.

Swelling with Juvederm  July 6, 2010 12:52 PM

You should be fine. Some patients tend to swell more and bruise more than others. The tissue in the lips are like sponge, so the initial augmentation may feel a a little bumpy. Bruising goes away on its own.

There are newer techniques catching on for lip augmentation that use deeper fillers placed adjacent to, instead of directly in the lip. These new techniques can lessen the need for direct "in the lip" injections for many women.

Hi! I am not sure what your lips looked like before your injections, but if you ask me, I think your lips look beautiful. I mean, I know they are a little bruised and maybe a little swollen, but overall, who ever did your treatment did a pretty good job. Do you have any new pictures? I think it's been a couple of months now. I would really like to see how they turned out. I am seriously considering having the injections done, but most that I have seen, on TV, don't look to hot. But really, yours look great. Please let me know. I live in Colorado, so I need to find someone out here, but if I could find someone who knows how to do it, like the person that did yours, I would be so happy. Was it the doctor or a nurse that did yours? Please let me know. Thank you so much. Bye.
