Fat grafting may help  April 18, 2009 10:37 AM

Fat grafting or fillers may help. However, you need to very careful that you are going to someone with extensive experience with fat injections since the tissues around the eyes are very thin and unforgiving.

I prefer fillers to fat for the lower lid tear trough hollowness, but I think that fat may be the best choice for hollowing of the upper lids. I agree with dr. shafer - look for the most experienced doc out there. its a tricky procedure.

upper eye hollowness  June 1, 2010 5:38 AM

This is a familial aging deformity due to atrophy of the ROOF (sub-Orbiculari-oculii fat pad)and Charpy fat pad on each eye region.
the FAMI restoration of these anatomical
features give a permanent improvement.
